Torment

Clawing. — Clawing at nerves and axons that never rest.

Digging. — Digging into skin until. It’s raw and red.

Bleeding. — Bleeding until. Tiny tendrils tangle with fingers.

Pulling. — Pulling until none are left.

Peace. — Peace at finally being free.

Free of the constant sensation that begs to be scratched.

Scratched.

Torn.

Cut.

Demolished.

Anything. — Anything to make it stop.

Make it stop.
