We welcome original work, pieces you’ve tucked away, or stories you’re eager to share. Revisions of previous work and cross-posting are also welcome. You may also contribute as a one-time writer or regularly (once a week). All articles remain the property of the writer and will include a © at the end of each piece. Please note that unsolicited submissions will not be accepted.
Images: Please provide 1 image in JPG or PNG format, with proper sourcing. Unsourced images will not be published. Archived articles will display the Faithful Writers logo.
Editing: Titles are needed, but here, subtitles are optional! Titles are rough enough sometimes; I'm not requiring a second one.
Before submitting, run your article through spell check. I will perform basic editing as needed, but if your article requires further work before publication, I will contact you. Please note that I may adjust your article’s layout to achieve the best possible presentation on this site.
AI-written or even suspected articles will not be published.
Length: This, I hope, is the best part. Articles can range from 25 to 1,800 words, and poems from 20 to 150 words. You will not receive a request from me to artificially increase your word count. Sometimes, the most powerful messages are conveyed with fewer words.
Longer articles are welcome; please contact me before submitting. You must demonstrate great writing skills, allowing me to publish confidently without extensive review.
How to Submit: Submissions are sent via email using a Word document, with images attached in the email. Please include all relevant sources with working links, as this is the responsibility of the writer.
Publishing Time: Please allow 3–4 days for me to review submissions (around 4 days for weekend submissions, and 4–5 days for holidays). I strive to publish promptly, but as a full-time caregiver and human being, occasional delays may occur.
Cross-posting: For writers who wish to cross-post a new article, it must be submitted within one week of the original publication. Please include the publication name and a link to the original article. (see examples here)
For cross-posting, a title tweak is recommended to prevent Google from flagging it as duplicate content or plagiarism.
Revisions: Must be a true rework. Include that it is a revision, where it was first published with a link, and the original publication date. Please provide a link to the original in your draft for review.
Social Media | Platforms | Tipping Accounts: Writers are welcome to link their personal blogs or social media accounts at the bottom of their article. If you use a Ko-fi account or similar platform, you may share your linked tagline at the end of the article. If no links are provided, I will assume that is your preference.
My Rights: Not every submission will be published, and I reserve the right to decline articles without reason. If a piece is not posted within two weeks, it should be considered not approved. Submissions should be well-written, carefully edited, Biblically supported, and include references when appropriate.
Articles that promote unbiblical teachings, for example: abortion, premarital sex, the current cultural/identity crisis, or the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical books, will not be published.
