Now, how does one become an available vessel? There are just 3 criteria.......

What if a Hebrew didn’t obey? God often asks us to do peculiar things to differentiate us from the rest of the world and reveal Himself as sovereign. We MUST understand the Exodus to become plague-proof for the end of this age. They are the same story, only 4,000 years apart.

They could have bowed down and worshipped that golden statue and saved themselves that day, but they didn’t. They chose God because they were faithful, steadfast and didn’t give a crap what others were doing around them.

I couldn’t skirt around it, I couldn’t “back burner” it any longer. Once faced with it, it wasn’t going anywhere. The Holy Spirit made sure of that, I was being convicted to make a choice.

The trust involved with handling these big ole’ bowling pins getting tossed in the air heading straight for the bridge of my delicate nose or my one of a kind smile. 

Sin can not and should not be tolerated; if God tolerated sin of any kind, He would have to tolerate all sin. If He did that, then good would no longer exist, sin would take over, and our understanding of good and bad would cease to exist completely and become a constant state of grey. 

The stranger had arranged the full cost to be covered at his expense. He further asked to take total responsibility.........

People come to faith at different points in their lives, creating levels of maturity and understanding that communities need to navigate.

Before the fall of man, everything was perfect, Genesis 3:8 gave us a glimpse of this wonderful fact. It shows us that God regularly walked in the Garden of Eden with His creation.

But I knew that I was in the wrong and there was no way to get around what I had been doing and not doing. I was breaking promises.

Here’s the thing to realize: when you are in a storm, and in the back of your mind, you remember all those phrases said about God being silent. They are not all good and have the potential to worsen your loneliness and damage your relationship with God because you are thinking about it the wrong way.

Nagging in the back of my head was this feeling that I answered wrong, that I needed to rethink my response, and why I responded that way. And you betcha I rethought my response, and it was an intense moment of realization, faith, and repentance.

Why can’t it be both? Maybe I’m wrong, but here are my thoughts. First, we are not puppets, we have free will to choose what we want.
