An ADHD connect the dots moment.

When life gives you lemons, drink lemon juice.

It’s great for the kidneys and sugar is addictive.

You’re probably wondering why I am writing this instead of one of my typical articles.

Because I ran into an article that had absolutely zero to do with any of my current rabbit holes.

According to healthline.com, “There’s an increasing body of research that tells us excess sugar could be as addictive as some street drugs and have similar effects on the brain.”

I also have stage 2 Kidney Disease and a fun-loving congenital Kidney condition called Medullary Sponge Kidney. I live on lemon juice to keep things flowing as smoothly and pain-free as possible.

There is a point to this neurodivergent connect-the-dots moment in my head.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

We often look at many things in our lives as Christians to see that we are in line with God.

How many look at the food you consume though?

Is it in line with what God tells us here?
