God doesn’t always speak through thunder or lightning. Sometimes His voice shows up in the peace that calms your heart—or the unrest that won’t let you move forward.

Grace doesn’t excuse sin—it empowers victory. Freedom begins when we stop running from God and start walking with Him daily, allowing His Spirit to renew our minds and reshape our desires.

In the midst of darkness, God calls us to stand firm, put on His armor, and live boldly in faith. Now is the time to rise as steadfast warriors in Christ.

The Spirit of God isn’t a dusty doctrine we fight over. The Holy Spirit is a living, pulsing reality. The Spirit flips that script. It’s not about me living like Jesus is beside me; it’s about Christ living His life through me by the Spirit within.

I think more so, my mind should stay fixed on my Savior, the Author and Finisher of my Faith. The beauty of Who He is far more captivating than any of my five senses have beheld, albeit they’ve beheld much.

Ever been told that if you truly had God, you’d automatically believe or understand? That’s not how it works. Testing the Spirit is part of God’s plan for discernment and spiritual growth.

The textbook asserts they were only talking about the Old Testament, except 2 Peter 1:21 & Acts 2:38–39 show differently.

As the world continues to get darker, it’s easy to get scared, to want to stay confined to the safety of our bubbles, and to be selfish with our time, effort, and money. But that’s not what we are called to do.

Now, you might be saying, “If you know the tips, how do you fall to the bottom of the well?” Because it’s not magic. We’re all living real life here and — for whatever reasons — I’m sometimes tripped up along the way.

I didn’t walk away from faith — but I did start asking harder questions. And wouldn’t you know it, that’s when something deeper began to grow.

We’ve built entire sermons around words Jesus never spoke. It’s time we stop preaching a misquote and start living the truth.

So, how did we get from there to here? From house churches to $60 million sanctuaries. From martyrs in the arena to pastors with private jets. From “take up your cross” to “God wants you to be rich.”

I ran into this new to me term from an article that blew my mind with what the person was saying about God and miracles. To each their own, but they used the word “christian” to describe themselves, and I do lower case that because this is not Christianity.

This isn’t the kind of life you can fake with a forced smile or spiritual performance. This is the kind of life that seeps out of your pores, even when you’re tired, even when you’re flawed, even when you’re unsure.

That’s the tricky part, right? Because the Spirit doesn’t always show up the way we expect. We want a booming voice, a divine sign, maybe something with flashing lights and a deep Morgan Freeman-esque narration. But more often than not, the Spirit’s help looks like:

The same people who can quote Psalm 23 without a moments hesitation with a faithful adoration in lip service only are willingly choosing to ignore other Scriptures.

This transformation in me probably makes no sense to some, is hard to fathom, and goes against our very human nature. I truly do understand that and the difficulty of reading what I am writing about.

Sometimes, doing the right thing means stopping mid-argument and saying, “You’re right.” It means giving up the need to win. Or walking across the room when you’d rather stay in your little safe corner.
