We tend to skip the “fly-over” Bible chapters filled with names and places we can’t pronounce. But what if one of those forgotten chapters actually tells the story of your life — your journey, your struggles, your growth?

Spiritual maturity isn’t about stacking up theological bricks until you build an impenetrable wall. It’s more like planting a garden: alive, unpredictable, and in constant need of tending. Gardens change with the seasons. So does faith.

What we need is a story big enough to make sense of our longings and our losses. A story that’s not just emotionally satisfying, but actually true. That’s exactly what the Bible offers.

Do you ever stop to think about the look on your face? Is it full of judgmental glares? Do you see yourself as better than others, never making a moment to offer a friendly hello or a nod someone’s way that you visibly watch their eyes light up, knowing they've been seen?

Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our lives (Hebrews 12:2 KJV). And it’s hard to grapple with the truth that His plan for my life — and your life — will not always match our own.
