Nostalgia has finally gotten its moment

I was once described as a Disco Ball in my women’s group, and honestly, if you know my personality and my past, you’d totally get it. But I think a bit of that glittering, unpredictable energy shows up in my writing.
To all the Lite Brite's out there — we Disco Balls see you.
We’ve both been cracked, broken, and shattered beyond human repair. By all logic, our lights shouldn’t even work anymore…
But somehow, they do.
Somehow, those scattered shards and splintered pieces were gathered and put back together. We were patched up beautifully, not with tape or glue, but with faith.
And unlike cracks that would weaken, ours hold power.
We shine, maybe even brighter than some, because God’s light shines through those fractures and holes. Our testimonies can become beacons in this world, because they reveal the depths of what human depravity can inflict, and the unmatched beauty of what God can restore.
If you are standing in a garden of broken glass with fields of shards. Know that those pieces can come back together; they can be placed in a magnificent arrangement where the light shines from you and within you.
Join the Lite Bright’s and Disco balls of this world, shine bright, speak loudly, and dazzle every step of the way.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and please consider supporting my work. Your gift helps keep this work going, blesses others, and means the world to me.
