History has shown us many “types” of antichrists already—from Pharaoh to Hitler—but Scripture warns the final one will be a man of lawlessness, opposed to God’s Torah. The signs are already unfolding before us.

First, while it is true that only blood can atone for sin, sacrifices were also offered up for other reasons besides sin atonement. For example, sacrifices could be offered to express gratitude to God for all of His blessings.

Notice that in both cases, the ark is the divine means of escape God has prepared for His chosen people. In Genesis, mankind was to be destroyed by a flood of water.

It is important to not confuse God’s judgment of the world with the tribulation. The tribulation is evil men hurting innocent believers. God’s judgement comes afterwards.

Notice also that God did not just remember Noah but his remembrance also extended to the creatures in the ark. Never forget that although man has been created above the animals, God still loves all of His creation.

The flood is told by the Greeks, the Hindus, the Chinese, the Mexicans, the Algonquins, the Hawaiians, etc. To me, this alone blows the “local flood theory” out of the water (pun intended). The Scriptures report that after bobbing around for a couple of days, the ark finally came to a rest on top of an area called the Mountains of Ararat.

In more than a hundred languages of the world, the word for “Sabbath” as meaning a day of rest is actually “Sabbath” and refers to Saturday. For example: Arabic=Sabot, Armenian=Shabat, Spanish=Sabado, Italian=Sabato, etcetera.

This is an issue that the Apostle Paul spent a lifetime trying to break down. How can it be sinful for a Jewish believer to desecrate the Sabbath but not for a Gentile believer? This is nothing less than the creation of two totally different flocks!
